Full community services are offered in respect of - weddings,akand paths- gurpurbs - celebrations ( non - alcoholic ) - childrens activities - punjabi school.
Gurdwara Gur Panth Parkash is siuated in centre of Leicester just of welford road which is one of trunk roads into the city.Large car park in the middle of spaceous private land serves all the temple halls as well as doubling up as outdoor meeting point (ideal in the summer for fetes,and ceremonies ).There are two buildings, the smaller building being the main building with darbar sahib,kitchen, accommadtions & offices . this building is used for day - to - day running of the temple,across the car park is the larger building with large function halls which are used on special occasions and large wedding receptions.
The temple grounds also house Babaji`s residence .
As with other religious Temples / churches / mosque - Gurdwara Gur Panth Prakash is a non - profit making charity organisation.
The temple is looked after by the volunteers from the community who will give their own time to doing sewa ( good deed / to serve) as to earn spiritual salvation . We believe the way to god is through honest hard work and respect of its fellow human being.
Most Sikhs carry out chores in the Gurdwara as their service to the community.
Even young children are encouraged to participate in the sewa of the Guru Granth sahib ji and the running of the temple,thier voice carry`s as much importance as that of an adult. this is one unique part of this temple which is pro-actively promoted by Sant Baba Jaswant singh ji - With Guruji's kirpa many new sangat who visit the gurdwara have remarked at the seva duties that are being carried out wholeheartedly and full of confidence by the youth.

The Baba Jaswant Singh Trust (Regd.), Ludhiana, a registered non-Govt. Organization with its office at Nanaksar Complex, Samrala Bye Pass Chowk, Ludhiana (Punjab), has been established with the overall objective of human welfare.
The improvisation of health care facilities through progressive scientific/medical research projects and imparting medical/dental education has been high on the agenda of the Trust. However, in tune with the ethos of humanization, the Trust has continuously been nursing the needy and deserving with free medical aid, medicines, clothes, etc., besides running community kitchen for the welfare of all, notwithstanding the solace provided through eternal sermons by His Holiness Baba Jaswant Singh Ji.
The Trust is engaged in several philanthropic and charitable activities since its inception_ organizing social/health care camps for providing comprehensive health care services through community out-reach, patient care, education and research. Trust has also established a Sarai where free lodging, food and basic health care facilities are extended to the needy and deserving people including patients and their attendant's.
In brief the sole motto of the trust is to foster human values and welfare with esteemed devotion indeed. And to realize its mission in words & in deeds, Trust has conceptualized & successfully established deemed institutes for health care and medical education, achieving new milestones under the agile & visionary guidance of saintly soul Baba Jaswant Singh Ji, an engineering graduate complemented by a council of eminent educationists, professionals & intellectuals.
